I'm grateful for my phone. If you told someone just 20, maybe 30, years ago that a handheld device could call others, take videos and photos in great quality, and explore the internet, a source of endless information? They would probably either call you crazy or faint in shock.
I'm grateful for play in basketball. It was almost like a dream as I watched Demar Derozan's daughter lock up the Raptors with her screams. Definitely the MVP, DPOY, 6MOTY, and anything else that applies. In the West, SGA remains as one of my favorite players, and I'll also continue to wish for JDub to be on the Dubs. I'd also take Trey Murphy III on the Warriors. Today I am thankful for MF DOOM. Possibly the greatest rapper ever, I love his lyricism and rhyming. A song like That's that shows his rhyming genius, as like 80% of the words are rhymes. I find that insane, as I can't even find 3 rhyming words when I write a song. I am grateful for my father. He has always supported whatever I do, whether it be playing basketball, or making tiktoks about basketball. Even as he lives in a different country, he still supports me.
I'm grateful for my brother. He has been in my life for as long as I can remember, and it's also his birthday today.
I'm grateful for living in a different country for so long. Living in Tonga helped widen my world view and forged me into the person I am today.
I am grateful for my cool blue bike. It is the greatest way to get to school every day, except when I almost get run over.
I am grateful for my teachers. They have guided me through this difficult time, as I try and integrate into this new school, country and culture. I'm grateful for music. It is relaxing and an underrated way to ingest information. |
